True Neapolitan Pizza

Oakfired serve True Neapolitan Pizza cooked in our wood fired oven at the Royal Oak, Beccles.

Neapolitan Pizza is a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed product recognised by the gold and blue mark. Its authenticity is regulated by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), Naples who inspect us each year to check the quality of our product.

In August 2018, Oakfired became the third restaurant in the UK, and the 743rd restaurant worldwide, licensed to make True Neapolitan Pizza.

In 2017 our food was recognised by the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association with a Gold Award for best UK independent pizzeria.

We accept walk in diners, but booking is advised for Fridays, Saturdays and holiday periods. Pre-booked collection slots are required for all takeout orders - to book call 01502 710111.

Booking policy

For all reservations of six persons and above we will require a non-refundable deposits (£5 lunch, £10 dinner) payment. On payment we will confirm your reservation and this will be deducted from your final bill. Final numbers must be confirmed 24 hours prior to your reservation - after this time your deposits is non refundable and a charge of will be added to your final bill. Changes to numbers resulting in absent guests within the 24 hour period will be charged either your agreed set menu price or the stated amount above. We apologise for this policy but this is ensure your enjoyment and guarantees service standards you expect from us.
